The program is designed to give you an overview specifically focusing on the subject of Air Cargo transportation. The course introduces you to the flow of cargo operations, products, services and principles in Air Cargo business.

Course Objective

  • Acquire the basic knowledge and understanding of the Air Cargo Industry

  • State the key international & national organizations that regulate, governs, and guides the air transportation industry

  • Identify the flow of cargo operations

  • Identify the different documents used in air cargo

  • Identify the different types of aircraft

  • Identify the different ULDs based on their categories

  • The agencies within the air cargo industry and their roles

  • The various manuals used in the air cargo industry

  • Flow of Cargo Operations

  • The various documents used in the air cargo industry

  • The different Aircraft Types and Unit Load Devices (ULD)

  • The different special loads carried by air


Training is in English. Participants should have basic comprehension of the English language.

  • Course is approved by the Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA) Ministry of Dubai.
